Memories

Memories

In that moment when I felt your heart,

gently dancing with my soul.

I knew in that one moment,

that you had me true to whole.

Each tiny sparkling moment,

sweet memories of you.

Fills my heart with contentment,

for someone my heart just knew.

What Does It

What Does It

What in life does it mean to be friends?

Is it worth giving a stranger a smile or hello?

What does it mean to lose, your heart to calis nature?

Is it because, we give up to life?

What does it mean,
to just lose how to love,
or care for yourself or another?

Is it just simply wanting to give up and die?

To this is what plagues me in my heart,
the struggle gets harder wanting to die!

The Still Voice

The Still Voice

Depth’s of His heart,
loves all people for
who they are.

The Still Voice talks,
but who is listening.

He weeps with sorrow,
because His children’s
gone astray.

The Still Voice talks,
but who is listening.

He talks once again,
to be astrayed to His land.

The still Voice talks,
but who is listening.

One said: I heard You talk to thee,
the love pours about.

The still Voice talks,
hence,
someone….. was…. listening….

Desires Within Me

Desires Within Me

There are no regrets without you,
without us; for today never ends.

There are no tomorrow’s without you,
just ends left untied.

There are no boundaries to seek,
just love to be shared with each other.

There are no lies to hide,
only questions unasked.

There are no secrets to hide,
only sincerities from our heart’s.

Sanctuary

Sanctuary
To my daughter,
Tiphanie Dawnette.

Crawl into my sanctuary,
and leave this world behind.
Open your heart and let me in,
then close the door of your mind.
Wrap yourself in my blanket,
as dark as the ocean’s deep.
Your tears gently sparkle,
like diamonds while you weep.
I will hold you tightly,
protect you from all that is wrong.
And when you long for comfort,
I will bring you a Phoenix’s song.
Don’t cry my flightless Angel,
your Halo still shines so bright.
Together we will find your wings,
and soon you will be in flight.
So to night, please be peaceful,
I know you are feeling weary.
So rest, wrapped up in my blanket,
inside my sanctuary.
Tiphanie:
I love you more today,
more than I did yesterday.
And I will love you even more tomorrow!

Easter to Enjoy

Easter To Enjoy

Jesus came to earth,
to show us how to live.

How to put others first,
how to love and how to give.

Then He set about His work,
that God sent Him to do.

He took our punishment on Himself,
He made us clean and new.

He could have saved Himself,
calling Angels from above.

But He chose to pay our price for sin,
He paid it out of love.

Our Lord died on Good Friday,
but the cross did not destroy.

His resurrection on Easter morn,
that fills our hearts with joy.

Now we know our earthly death,
like His, is just a rest.

We’ll be forever with Him,
in Heaven, where life is best.

So we live our lives for Jesus,
think of Him in all we do.

Thank you Savior,
thank you Lord,
help us love like You.

Contentment

Contentment

Your embrace is filled
with sweetness.

Desires beneath they glow.

Delicious warm contentment,
the love that we both well know.

Your heartbeat feels like heaven,
a throbbing soft repose.

These feeling’s deep inside me,
continue’s everyday to grow.

Our souls unite in harmony,
our bodies joined as one.

The love I feel inside me,
is like holding heavens sun.

Often My Dreams

Often My Dreams

Excerpt

The way we were with each other, the friendship, our marriage that it grew to be. Thank you, my dear wife, for the lasting thoughts that carry my mind to places in my heart of untold purities. I miss you so desperately and I can never forget our love, our marriage, the children, and now, we have grandchildren. I sure hope you approve, even though you’re not here. I’m a hot, hot mess without you.

Until we meet again Shannon, I love you. May you always rest so peacefully.

Often My Dreams

Dreaming
her dreams.

Her dreaming,
her dreams.

Oh, but I wish she had,
dreamt of us.

My dreams,
are dreams of us.

I dream of the longing of
a lifetime, loving her.

In The Faces Of

A writing of a female in conversation with the opposite sex.

In The Faces Of

In the faces of love,

I have seen so little of life.

In the faces of love,

I have searched for expression,

have yet to come away with an answer.

And it seems I have been

turned away at last.

And the face of love

is long ago friend,

last seen too many.

Seasons hence,

but a sweet taste

of friendship lingers.

Like carved images of yesterday,

in the faces of the seasons of love.

Every Day A Harvest

Every Day A Harvest

Every day a harvest,

every man, every woman, every child.

Looking back harvesting,

the trail of daylight for laughter,

brought from life.

The successes,

bring you joy,

happiness.

Stay away from the corners of despair,

for sometimes they can shame you.

The disappointments,

for they may only burden you.

Every day a harvest,

every man, every woman, every child.

Me, A Servant

Me, A Servant

My what an honor today,

that I serve Jesus.

To take His loving hand,

please show me the way.

He opened my eyes,

allowed me to see.

He blew life in my lungs,

He brought me to breathe.

It was in nick of time,

I wouldn’t have it any other way.

You took me from that storm,

that thrashed me away.

You brought Peace in me now,

I’ll never live without.

Your my center of my world,

I’ll give it a shout..

I have more Love for You,

that one person can give.

My what a pleasure it is,

that You live within.

I was foolish in the first place,

not to be with You.

I love You more today Lord,

more than I did yesterday too.

Behold, a King

Behold, a King

It was as foretold in folklore,

the, “Greatest Story Ever Told”

Behold, a “light” that shines,

on the “One,” in the manger.

Displayed in a arua of “Peace.”

bonded to the roots of “Love.”

That the “child” that was born,

to a mother, that is adorned.

Became as foretold in folklore,

the “Greatest Story Ever Told.”

The “child” in that manger,

His Greatest quest,

has not yet.

The burdens of such a King,

taken upon Himself.

That He has so chosen,

to pay for our sin.

Well, He done it,

He paid it out of “Love.”

For that’s a true King,

know?

He gave His Life,

He gave it out of “Love.”

Ole’ Angel of Mine

Ole’ Angel Of Mine

To my dear friend,

Robin Hookie

May you R.I.P

I asked God to send me a miracle,

I felt your presence.

I asked God to touch my heart,

you smiled.

I asked God to send me a friend,

I got an Angel.

When I thanked God for sending me a miracle,

I was overwhelmed by your presence.

When I thanked God that He had

touched my heart,

you came over and stood beside me.

When I thanked God for sending me a friend,

and an angel appeared.

You turned and looked at me,

smiled and said hello.

Thank you Angel for being there!!

Song of Your Soul

Song Of Your Soul

Sing the song of your soul,

let it soar on the wings of your spirit.

Live the tune of your love so loud,

all the world will take notice and hear it.

The gift of your very presence,

marks your place of worth as a person.

Rejoice and be forever grateful,

for the day of your journey.

On earth,

find youself.

Find your passion and decide,

who and what you want to become.

Create your life and move ahead.

You are not defined by where you

are from.

The race of human kind is yours.

Not the bounderies of any one nation.

Stand and shine in the light of who

you are, a beloved and glourious

creation.

Meet Mischief, my furry  best friend and family.

  •  Mischief rescued me, as I rescued him. He was only 5-6 weeks old, abandoned on some old farm house. Last year’s Christmas photo, 2017.  Mischief:  I’m now 1 yr, 4 month old.

  • On Tuesday, December 4 th, 2018, my owner of mine, woke me up like at 7am expecting me to function, with no food or water. He later, stuffs me in the cat carrier, quite plush may I add, and dropped me off with some people I didn’t know.. My owner says, by Mischief.
  • These people he left me with, well, injected me with something, and man I was knocked out. I woke up later and I’m like “woozy,” and have some pain down between my back legs and as I investigate myself there, and just to see “what’s up,” I meowed so loud, because I was missing cat parts. Yeah, I’m talking that, he had my cat fancy whacked. How dare my owner do this, with no discussion, cause it was like I didn’t have a say in the matter. Ok you little guy, enough blogging,  I had ya nurtured, tee hee! Sorry pal really, it was for the best.
  • Better that really, or I’d need thank myself, because I won’t have the neighbors knocking asking for cat support. Done ya a favor pal, so anyways, meet my best buddy and furry friend and family, Mischief Lotus Darnell. Say by Mischief to everyone reading. Thanks guys, he is really a big part of my heart.
  • Take care people, have a great day or night.

Dear Love, I Would

Dear Love, I Would

Your lips would make for a gentle kiss.

Your arms would make for a perfect hug.

Your hand would make a perfect fit for mine.

You’re the one I would love having beside me.

You’re the one I would want to share my heart and life with now.

I wish I knew what I did to deserve you showing up?

Because, I would do it again!

Always And Forever

Always And Forever

John and Donna Hazalet

May you R.I.P.

I am are your lion,

you are my lamb.

A song bird singing,

for this was the plan.

Always and forever,

I just want you to know.

I will always be here for you,

no matter where I go!

You can travel by the sea,

you can travel in the air.

By camel across the desert,

I will always be there!

Your knowledge astounds me,

I’m desperate to learn.

Take me to your places,

this time it’s your turn.

I will support your dreams and wishes,

yellow roses helped them to come true.

I have sealed it with 4 kisses,

just to be with you.

I want you to know that I love you,

you are forever in my heart.

You’ve blessed my life with so much pleasure,

without you, I’d fall apart.

Grandpa

Grandpa

My grandson’s,

Eoin, Christopher, Rowick.

Excerpt

Every grandchild needs a Grandpa. Whether biological or not, grandchildren deserve grandparents in their lives. They need all that I have mentioned in my poem to my grandsons. And each has their own framed copy on parchment signed by this Grandpa. I have written one for my granddaughters as well.

Grandpa

A boy needs a Grandpa,

for man-to-man talks.

To go hand in hand,

on companionable walks.

To fix up his toys,

when they no longer go.

To tell him the things,

little boys want to know.

A boy needs a Grandpa,

to show him the way.

To handle a puppy,

to teach him fair play.

To impart bits of wisdom,

he’s learned through the years.

That it’s no disgrace,

for a man to shed tears.

A boy needs a Grandpa,

to sit on his lap.

And if no one is looking,

they take a wee nap.

Each wrapped in an aura,

of love and esteem.

Each smiling gently,

at some special dream.
