The Still Voice

The Still Voice

Depth’s of His heart,
loves all people for
who they are.

The Still Voice talks,
but who is listening.

He weeps with sorrow,
because His children’s
gone astray.

The Still Voice talks,
but who is listening.

He talks once again,
to be astrayed to His land.

The still Voice talks,
but who is listening.

One said: I heard You talk to thee,
the love pours about.

The still Voice talks,
hence,
someone….. was…. listening….

Rational Thinking

Rational Thinking

Rational thinking,
wise to choose.

It’s a little bit harder,
nothing more for me to lose.

Broken dreams,
broken hearts.

Broken wings,
my broken parts.

Rational thinking,
wise to choose.

It’s a little bit harder now,
nothing more for me to lose.

I’m struggling harder,
just to stay alive.

I’m struggling harder now,
just to say goodbye.

Rational thinking,
wise to choose.

It’s a little bit harder now,
nothing more for me to lose.

Please come fix me,
please fix me now.

Rational thinking,
wise to choose.

I’m struggling harder now,
nothing more for…me…to…lose…

Me, A Servant

Me, A Servant

My what an honor today,

that I serve Jesus.

To take His loving hand,

please show me the way.

He opened my eyes,

allowed me to see.

He blew life in my lungs,

He brought me to breathe.

It was in nick of time,

I wouldn’t have it any other way.

You took me from that storm,

that thrashed me away.

You brought Peace in me now,

I’ll never live without.

Your my center of my world,

I’ll give it a shout..

I have more Love for You,

that one person can give.

My what a pleasure it is,

that You live within.

I was foolish in the first place,

not to be with You.

I love You more today Lord,

more than I did yesterday too.

Behold, a King

Behold, a King

It was as foretold in folklore,

the, “Greatest Story Ever Told”

Behold, a “light” that shines,

on the “One,” in the manger.

Displayed in a arua of “Peace.”

bonded to the roots of “Love.”

That the “child” that was born,

to a mother, that is adorned.

Became as foretold in folklore,

the “Greatest Story Ever Told.”

The “child” in that manger,

His Greatest quest,

has not yet.

The burdens of such a King,

taken upon Himself.

That He has so chosen,

to pay for our sin.

Well, He done it,

He paid it out of “Love.”

For that’s a true King,

know?

He gave His Life,

He gave it out of “Love.”

I Was In You

I Was In You

I saw you today,

but was unseen.

I walked passed you today,

but you never knew.

I knew you in your heart,

but your heart did not know mine.

I tried to talk to you,

but was unheard.

I woke up just to find out,

It was all just a dream I was in.

His Heavenly Land

His Heavenly Land

For human was born unto this world,

as He so chose to be.

This God of ours, now Jesus Christ,

is great Blessed love to see.

We build our homes and decorate too,

for us all to be.

The very ground you sit upon,

belongs to Him, not you or me.

As the wind blows softly,

through the leaves of trees.

The flower’s dance

mirthful in their beds.

The harvest of the field grow by day,

while the wind blows through their pads.

Seeing the harmony of the nature grows,

Mother land plays in this part.

Thus we see that God had made,

this great world we live apart.

Ole’ Angel of Mine

Ole’ Angel Of Mine

To my dear friend,

Robin Hookie

May you R.I.P

I asked God to send me a miracle,

I felt your presence.

I asked God to touch my heart,

you smiled.

I asked God to send me a friend,

I got an Angel.

When I thanked God for sending me a miracle,

I was overwhelmed by your presence.

When I thanked God that He had

touched my heart,

you came over and stood beside me.

When I thanked God for sending me a friend,

and an angel appeared.

You turned and looked at me,

smiled and said hello.

Thank you Angel for being there!!

Come Rest With Me

Come Rest With Me

Bob and Thelma Darnell

May you R.I.P

God saw you getting weary,

He did what He thought best.

He put His arms around you and said,

come with Me and rest.

He opened up His Golden Gates,

on that heart breaking day.

And with His arms around you,

you gently slipped away.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

you did not go alone.

A part of us went with you,

the day God called you home.

And with this poem I write,

I bid to you goodbye.

Rest in peace my loving parents,

I’ll see you on the other side.
